'Chepo' De La Torres's first squad

The waiting is over. Mexican football heads in a new direction under new manager Jose Manuel de la Torre who since 2006 has won three titles with first Chivas and then Toluca (2) in the Mexican Primera Division. The 45-year-old former midfielder's first game in charge will be against Bosnia-Herzegovina on February 9 in the Georgia Dome.

  1. Just wanted to point out that Adrian Aldrete wasn't named in this squad. Morelia's twitter account mistakenly announced it but it was false. Anyways, I wanted to say I enjoy your blog very much and its nice to see Mexican football from a different point of view, keep it up :]
